Mine gas extraction ducts typically use steel spiral welded duct pipes. The advantages of steel gas duct pipes are their high material rigidity and a simple, mature manufacturing process. Gas extraction ducts generally require seam welding and pipe wall coatings. The resulting spiral corrugated steel duct pipes have a fixed shape, high hoop stiffness, and high resistance to negative pressure. Special inner and outer PE coatings protect the internal steel from rust, provide corrosion resistance, strong anti-static properties, non-sparking impact resistance, and good flame-retardant performance.
